The new XpressO™ oscillators incorporate patented technologies that allow the devices to operate with the same electrical performance and low levels of jitter found in fixed frequency oscillators. These technologies include a series of proprietary application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) with unique noise reduction silicon architectures, as well as Fox’s proven production techniques. In addition to its technological advancements, the XpressO family of oscillators was designed to benefit engineers and purchasing personnel needing high-quality, low-cost oscillators in a short timeframe. The XpressO oscillators will be available in September and are guaranteed to be shipped within 24 hours for samples and within 10 days maximum for production quantities. With a frequency range from 1.0 MHz to 1.1 GHz and stabilities as tight as ±20 ppm, Fox's XpressO product is ideal for virtually any application where an oscillator is required. Versions of the XpressO oscillators include HCMOS, LVDS and LVPECL for both XO and VCXO packages, and XpressO’s ceramic package sizes are 7.0 mm x 5.0 mm and 5.0 mm x 3.2 mm. Pricing for the XpressO oscillators will vary depending on the output, frequency, stability and package needed. Delivery is less than 10 Days ARO. FORT MYERS, Fla., June 2006 -- Fox Electronics, America’s leading supplier of frequency control products, now offers the F254, a compact, low power consumption 32.768 kHz HCMOS surface mount oscillator for keeping track of time and date in multiple applications. Because of its small size and low power consumption, Fox’s F254 is ideal for devices such as cell phones, digital watches, MP3 players, stereos, car radios and video and digital cameras, where space is limited. It is also designed for use in applications where keeping track of the date and time is essential, such as postal meters and parking garage ticket dispensers. The RoHS-compliant F254
measures only 2.5 mm x 4.0 mm, with a profile of 0.9 mm. It requires 1.5 µA of
input current during full operation and 250 nA of power during standby
operation. The new oscillator has an operating temperature range of
-40°C (-40°F) to +85°C (185°F); a frequency tolerance of +5 ± 20 PPM; and a
frequency stability of -120 ~ +10PPM over a temperature range of -20°C (-4°F)
~+70°C (158°F). Pricing for an F254 32.768 kHz oscillator is $1.37 in quantities of 12,000. Standard Tape size is 3000pcs. Delivery is eight to ten weeks ARO.
The compact F230 measures only 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm, with a low profile of just 0.8 mm. Its power consumption is one of the lowest in the industry. At 12 MHz, the F230 requires only 7 mA of input current during full operation and only 5 µA of power during standby operation. The new oscillator offers a frequency range of 0.84 MHz to 75 MHz; a frequency stability of ± 100 PPM ; an operating temperature range of -20°C (-4°F) to +70°C (+158°F); and long-term aging of ±5 PPM per year. Other tolerances, stabilities and operating temperature ranges are also available. The F230 surface mount oscillator is fully RoHS compliant. Pricing for an F230-27MHz crystal oscillator is $1.74 in quantities of 1,000. Delivery is eight to ten weeks ARO.
The FD crystal measures just 7.5 mm x 5 mm, with a profile of 1.1 mm and offers an expanded frequency range of 8 MHz to 200 MHz. All frequencies are available in fundamental mode, which provides a clean signal for high-end network and communications applications. The crystal has a frequency tolerance of ± 50 PPM; a frequency stability of ± 50 PPM; and an operating temperature of –10° C (+14° F) to +60° C (+140° F). The FD crystal is available with an optional tolerance and stability of 10 PPM for telecommunications and other tight tolerance applications. Pricing for a 200MHz FD Crystal is $12.35 in quantities of 1000. Delivery is eight weeks ARO.

Pricing for a 16 MHz FX252B crystal is $2.86 in quantities of 1,000. Delivery is eight weeks ARO.
Fort Myers, FL, April 2005 – Fox Electronics, America’s leading supplier of
frequency control products, has expanded the recently released FQ series of
all-quartz crystal packaging technology to include a 5.0 mm x 3.2 mm package
size. The FQ5032, which boasts an extremely low profile of 0.8 mm, is ideal for
a wide range of portable applications, including handheld devices such as such
as PDA, MP3, scanners and GPS. Fox’s all-quartz packaging technology provides a cost reduction of up to 20% or more over conventional ceramic packaging, as well as eliminates the recurring problems of ceramic shortages. The new crystals yield costs savings of 15% in quantities of 10,000 to 20,000 and savings of 20% in quantities of 50,000 and above. In addition, compared to ceramic packaging, the FQ series offers a lighter weight and a lower profile. The FQ5032 is available in frequencies from 12 MHz to 60 MHz, with a ±30 ppm tolerance at 25°C (77°F). Standard stability is ±30 ppm at temperatures from 0°C to 70°C (32°F to 158°F), with tighter stabilities available on special order. Extended temperature versions for use from -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F) are also available. The new FQ5032 is fully RoHS compliant, offers complete pad compatibility with existing ceramic packages, and is available in two- or four-pad configurations. Pricing for a 5.0 mm x 3.2 mm FQ5032 crystal with a frequency of 20 MHz is $0.25 each in quantities of 50,000. Delivery is six to eight weeks ARO.
